Нижегоро́дский метрополите́н (до 1990 года — Го́рьковский метрополите́н) — внеуличная пассажирская транспортная система Нижнего Новгорода. Хронологически третий метрополитен в России, первый в Приволжском федеральном округе, десятый в СССР. Первый пусковой участок Горьковского метрополитена, от станции «Московской» до «Пролетарской», был открыт 20 ноября 1985 года.
Среднесуточный пассажиропоток составляет 115,0 тыс. человек. По числу станций Нижегородский метрополитен занимает 3-е место в России после метрополитенов Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга.
По длине эксплуатируемых линий занимает 139-е место в мире и 56-е место среди метрополитенов Европы.
Метрополитен состоит из двух линий — Автозаводской и Сормовско-Мещерской. На них расположены 15 станций: 14 мелкого заложения и одна наземная крытая — «Буревестник». Длина линий составляет 22,2 км. Обе линии пока обслуживаются единственным депо — «ТЧ-1 Пролетарское», в планах строительство второго депо для поездов Сормовско-Мещерской линии и в перспективе — третьего депо для перспективной Нагорной линии.
На 2-х станциях из 15 — «Московская» и «Горьковская» — смонтированы эскалаторы.
Эксплуатацию метрополитена осуществляет МП «Нижегородское метро». Стоимость проезда — 28 рублей (по транспортной карте «Ситикард» на 60 минут — 26 рублей).
TIMELINE STORIES
The Moscow design institutes Metrogiprotrans and Giprokommundortrans, on behalf of the USSR State Planning Committee, developed a feasibility study for the construction of the metro in the city of Gorky as the fastest, most comfortable and convenient means of transport.
The Museum of the Nizhny Novgorod Metro offers to plunge into the history of the emergence and formation of the metro, collecting all the iconic exhibits for more than 30 years of the existence of the Nizhny Novgorod subway.
We ride along the entire Avtozavodskaya line of the first line of the Nizhegorodskaya metro from the Gorkovskaya station to the Park Kultury station on February 20, 2020. There are 11 stations on the line, including one interchange station Moskovskaya, the largest in the country, to the second Sormovsko-Meshcherskaya line. The length of the car factory line is 14.9 km. Travel time is 22 minutes. The interval of movement is 5, 7, 8, 10 minutes. Opening hours from 05-15 to 00-10. The line is served by PM-1 Proletarskaya with carriages 81-717 / 714, 81-717.5 / 714.5, 81-717.6 / 714.6. The train consists of 4/5 wagons. The line was opened on November 20, 1985 at the Moskovskaya-Proletarskaya section. The second section Proletarskaya-Komsomolskaya was opened on August 8, 1987. The third Komsomolskaya-Park of Culture on November 15, 1989. The fourth section Moskovskaya-Gorkovskaya, from Zarechnaya to the Nagornaya part of the city, including the Metro bridge across the Oka, was launched on November 4, 2012.
